Serving the community
Bringing love and hope
No matter what your age or your reason for coming to St Paul’s, you will find us a welcoming church with a lively, growing and friendly congregation.
Every Sunday we love to meet together at 10:30am to worship Jesus. Afterwards, we enjoy being together afterwards with tea, coffee, squash and biscuits or cake, flowing freely after the service. The worship style is informal and Spirit-filled. Our teaching is Bible based and Spirit-filled. You would be most welcome to join us!
If you want something short and really lively then come along to ‘Awesome!’. This happens on the fourth Sunday of each month at 4pm. ‘Awesome’ is a short, interactive service, followed by some table crafts and a free light buffet with hot and cold drinks. All ages are welcome, but this is especially family friendly. Come and try, it’s lots of fun!
There are a growing number of young families at St Paul’s, and your children will always be made very welcome.
We also have a heart for our community. If we can help your group, or you as an individual in any way, please contact us.
We can arrange one-off food parcels for families struggling to make ends meet.
On Wednesdays between 10.30 and 12.30pm, we have a ‘pay as you can’ stall with bread, cans, and other goods donated by Asda. The church is also available at this time for you to come and enjoy a cuppa and a bit of quiet in this crazy world!
We meet in a small, informal groups, during the week, to learn together more about Jesus through the Bible, conversation and prayer.
At St Paul’s, we believe that the Holy Spirit of Jesus is active in the world today, bringing healing and wholeness as we encounter Jesus through the Bible, prayer and each other. If you would like prayer for healing or for anything, or you would like to get to know more about the living Holy Spirit of Jesus, come and see us or contact Sue, the vicar, anytime.
As part of the Church of England we also offer Weddings and Baptisms and of course funerals. We would love to support you and your friends and family through these special times. Contact Sue, our vicar for more details about this.
YOU ARE SO VERY WELCOME TO JOIN US. JUST COME AS YOU ARE!
